I just finished painting my windshield wipers silver to match my truck. O'man the finish is great and it is really different. Do you guys want pics?

Did it before

They came out awesome on my Cobra, but it was black and so were the wipers already, so all the paint really did was make them look glossy. But it did look nice!

thats like a chick asking you if you REALLY want a blow job!

If you want to put viewing pics of painted windshield wipers in the same category as a BJ that's your choice, but there's a tad less interest in the wipers for me.... :Y

i am doing mine now! how did you paint them? if you took them off to paint them, were they easy to get off and on? did you just sand 'em down then use a certain kind of paint? thanx for the help, NICE MOD!

well....

First you pop off the black cover at the bottom with a flathead screwdriver then you remove the nut under it. After that, you have to pull really hard, but make sure you pull straight up because It will be easier to take off. The hard part is to take off the rubber on the windshield. I cant really explain that I had a friend do it for me. You then put a very light coat of a color that matches (go to a Auto Mart store like Checkers they will help you out!) your paint then you let if sit for ten minutes and do it again and again until its the color you like. But beware dont just spray the paint on because It will look really bad and not as solid as the way I described. By the way I used a spray can. I did not sand off anything because my windshiled wipers are very clean. (I live in Arizona). If anybody needs help e-mail me at Basktbalr7@aol.com.

Good Luck,

P.S. it takes about 30-45 min. because of drying period. YOu could wash your truck while they are finish drying. ;)
