Has anyone been able to hook the Phantom guages to the dash dimmer?

Can it be done easily?

You betcha

Yes, I have, and I am pretty sure a lot of others have too. Just use a test light and test all the wires that go into the dimmer switch. It is only one of them

One question, until I get my digital camera fired up, could I borrow some of the pics in your gallery since my 2002 black looks almost identical to your 2001? I won't be offended if you say no, but you take really cool pictures and angles.

A fellow poster (Lightinrod) had the suggestion of tapping into the light for the ashtray as it dims and would be easy to find.

It is where my gauge lights will be attached.

Feel free to use pics.......actually my truck looks WAYYYY different now. Those pictures were the first week I got it. Since it has been stored I have done everything in my sig.......and the stuff keeps coming I hope to be done by the time I take it out. Only a few more thousand to spend.........
