A very nice hood, but no one's bought it yet (AFAIK) for their L's. In fact, haven't heard from Devin in a bit ... maybe he's working 24/7 to get paint money

Hi guys.
Brian I yelled at you on ICQ last night a bunch of times, might have been Dawn online.
Anyway, Dave no I don't have the hood on, as a matter pf fact the darn thing isn't even in yet. They make one for each person that calls an order in from the way I understand it, so it takes a whopping four weeks just to get one in.
I've been doing little projects until it gets here, i.e. intake setup to maximize the baffles and openings, figuring out which heads are on my truck, and shift kit from Level 10 is going into tomorrow, so I'm tided over.
When the darn thing DOES get in though, I'll slap it on just for fun and get Brian to photoshop it to see what it will look like. I'll be sure to keep everyone posted.:tu: :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu:

Be prepared to spend some time on the hood. USB is pretty good but nearly every brand of glass hood weve tried on the trucks and Stangs have required a full day of fill and sand before i would ever consider paint and install.
My buddy runs a body shop and does a lot of custom ford work. Every glass hood to date has been a challenge. He started dealing with a company that does steel hoods and has had better luck with them. I cant remember the name though.

Hey Guys I have a 1967 Shelby GT 350 Fastback with that SAME Hood , I never saw it before for a Lightning. I like it, Devin when you get the Hood on & Painted Send me a Picture!!!
If You want I will send you a Picture of my Shelby. My car is Midnight Blue with White Lemans Stripes. It has a 289 Hi Po Motor which makes 306 H.P.!!!:tu:

It came from http://usbody.com and was priced at $599.

They have a large picture of it.
IF you get it on within I think it's 90 days (possibly 120)
and take a picture of it on your vehicle, you can send them the pic and they'll give you a hundred bucks back!
Unfortunately, it doesn't come functional, and there's no kit currently for it. I'm gonna try either to flip my intake around and set it somewhere around the distributor, or just flat bolt it to the throttle body. Also, with a hood, you run a lot cooler.
