OK, some more stuff:

RaymondB and SG990 (Karl) you have priority for any of this stuff for helping out with the parts weights. Thanks again.

Door window seals (? - those fuzzy strips that attach to the top edge of the door sill between the door and the window; usually the tabs that hold them on snap off or the fuzzy stuff wears out). New, 2, Free plus shipping.

EOD 4x4 transmission pan; slight additional capacity (1/2 Qt ?) but the big advantage is a built-in drain; $10 plus shipping. Note: the 4x4 pan requires a different filter than the std pan. Forget the PN but should be easy to find.

Smog pump set up; looks pretty complete; for those of you who suffer in a state that requires them. Free plus shipping

5/16 Guide Plates; new in package. Free plus $11 for flat rate Priority Mail

Plugs for removal of smog pump; iirc these go in the ends of the cylinder heads; free plus $11 for flat rate Priority Mail.

Vortec aluminum intake cover. This goes on the stock lower, which is included (with filter) unless youn want to save shipping by using your own lower. $20 plus shipping.

Hi Robert!

I would love the window Seals and transmission pan if nobody calls dibs on it please!

Biscuit93 & Asposato, please send zip codes, either here or DM. Asposato, you want the lower as well or just the AL cover ? TIA

Thanks Bob, I’ll pass as well, just glad this group is getting the chance at some great deals. Hopefully we all pay it forward.

OK, since Karl and Raymond have passed, the window seals and trans pan will go to emc2809, the Vortech cover will go to Asposato and the smog setup will go to Biscuit. I normally go online to get a ballpark estimate from the USPS using weight and size (bathroom scale, weigh myself then weigh myself holding the package; this has worked remarkably well !). It is not totally reliable because the clerk measuring things can round up or round down (Is 20.5”= 21 or 20 ?). An inch in one or two directions can make a big difference. Biscuit, my approximation says the smog setup will cost $150-160 to ship to the East Coast (weighs about 20 pounds). That seems ridiculous to me, I would think you could find one locally for a lot less but I may be wrong. I will get final shipping costs tomorrow.

OK, post office was closed on Mon and I had been away for the weekend, sorry for the delay. Biscuit93, I got an estimate of $122 for shipping the smog setup to you despite it only being around 20#s. LMK if you still want it. Thanks for offering to pay me the $25 for it, even though I'd posted it for free; I will waive that if it helps. Raymond B, I have a few people interested in the Lightning engine, but shipping is a major consideration. I would really like this engine to go back in a Lightning, not a Bronco or a Mustang. Listed it on eBay for $300 more, I got a bid from a guy in South Dakota who wants it for his Mustang but I got him to withdraw his offer because I really prefer it to go back into a Lightning and getting a shipper to get it to him would require me to get it to Phoenix to get it shipped. It is now listed on eBay for local pickup only with an offer to take it to Phoenix, Las Vegas or Socal. Hate to bug you but if you could get me the block/crank weights, I can get those interested shipping estimates. Again, apologies. emc2809, I had packaged up the trans pan and the door seals separately, not expecting them to go to the same place but the PO wanted $14 to ship the door seals alone, so today I will try to get them in the same box with the trans pan and get a requote. Apologies to all for the long thread responses !

Ooops. Asposato, I did not have to Vortech cover with me when I went to the PO. Will get you a quote today for the cover alone. Anyone need an OEM lower air box ? Otherwise, I'm afraid it will end up in the trash. If it comes to that, I will pull off the bolts and grommets in case anyone needs those.

I'll take the combo, Bob. i sent you a DM as well

Asposato, I got the Vortech cover quoted by itself and sent you a DM. If you’d actually like the lower as well, I can re-package it and get it requoted. Emc2809, I got the pan and the seals into the same box which saved some $. DM’d you.
