Grease?

Just wondering what grease you guys recommend that is good all around for useing on my L and Explorer?

i would like one that is good for off roading cause i try to do that as much as possible. it would be great to use the same grease on both of my cars cause they both need some soon.

is there a grease that you would recommend when road racing or auto crossing? Stan and others in the HP driving and auto crossing forums have got me thinking about trying to do some of it this summer. this would help alot thanks to all that reply.

Sorry no one has responded yet.

I use Aeroshell #6 grease. It is quite heavy and resists removal by water quite well. The only problem is, it's and aircraft product. It may be hard to come by if you don't happen to be near an aviation supply retailer.

P.S. About the only thing I grease regularly are the steering stops.

Could you post a pic of where exactly to put the grease-on the steering stops that is, before you say something else!!! LOL
