Going to possibly buy heads & rr's tonight - need advice.

I've been going back and forth with this guy through his friend about a set of heads.

He's not 100% sure WHAT they are. He claims they are World Products Windsor Sr iron heads with mild port work and oversized valves. He's asking $350 for them, which seems more than fair if that's what they are. I just keep getting this nagging feeling that he doesn't have a clue what they are, and they might be plain old stock 351w heads. He says he just pulled them off his 5.0, and is going to aluminum.

How can I discover exactly what these suckers are?

Also, he's got a set of steeda 1.72 blue anodized RRs for sale, are these a good choice?

Do you have access to actually look at the heads? If not I'd say forget it. Don't do it. I've seen too many times where someone "didn't know exactly what they were" and it turned out not to what they were supposed to be. If it were me I'd just buy some new ones that way you know FOR SURE what you are getting. You can get those heads, complete, for $800 something. I can't remember but I've been looking into them myself.

Yeah, after talking to the dude over the phone, it's clear that he is about 17-18 yrs old (no offense to any of you whippersnappers) and has no clue what he's talking about.

Oh well, the search for heads continues.

If I remember correctly JEGS had a bit better price on the World Products Roush 200 heads (the new Sr. heads) than Summit. Either that or the other way around but I'm pretty sure it was JEGS with the better price. They were around $800 something for the complete pair.

I'm putting canfield heads on mine. Once I save up the $1200+ bucks, not easy to come by when your 19 unless you doing some low land farming or mommy and daddy give it to ya.
