Getting Rid of the Prop Rod!

Anyone here get rid of their cervinis ram air hood prop rod. I need some suggestions. thanks

Heres some hood lifter thingys. Would work just as good for a Lightning fiberglass hood. I'll ask were to get them.

Ken Woodward has built a lift setup for his Cervini hood. I havent seen him around here in weeks, he is in Europe on a job.

Anyluck finding a better setup?

Not yet. I went to Autozone and was able to look at some hood struts from a 95' ford car (forgot which one!!). Anyways that hood is heavier than the cervinis, so these struts might work. they would have to be rigged on there, but i really havent had time to figure it out. It would be nice if we found the exact struts to order.
