When does the madness end
I managed to get the rear tank working again, right before the front quit all together. Need to drop that tomarrow. When I took the rear out again, I found that the supply tube was crimped in two places. The metal tube coming from the tank, and the braided line that comes off of it. Smashed flat. I replaced the whole thing with a virgin tank from the yard, and ran 3/8" high pressure hose to replace the crimped portion. guessing the front will be the same. Got to run the truck on the track today, at Dinnwitty. Went there for a stunt show. I got terrible wheel hop at the line, but did good.

R/T 1.34 (sleeping bad)
60 2.042
1/8 9.103 75.61
1/4 14.32 93.44
my second run i had a .872 r/t, but i spun real bad, and it shifted to second then back to first so I only ran a 15.41, but the 454ss in the other lane still couldn't cope at a 15.77.
I also ran an 11.03 and 11.02 on the bike, and was pulling 1/4 mile wheelies.

Try the shim trick for your factory slapper bars. It doesnt help like a true traction bar, but the axle hop goes away. All for about $3.

I already have them shimmed up to about 1/8" below the spring. It works fine on the street, but the track is a hole other story. the track was rather choppy though.
