Free traction mod (snubber relocation)

Was there any particular trick to this? I'm doing it today in preparation for the track tomorrow.

Also, I'm going to borrow some slicks, Is there a danger of breaking something while making a couple of passes on them, and how can i minimize the chances of this?

Thanks!

I would think that slicks puts alot of torque on your rear u-joint and rear end parts. I've seen cases where the rear u-joint failes when launching...also seen the rear wheel come off due to the lug nuts shearing off or you can damage the rear clutches. But we're also talking about cars that are making way more HP and torque than ours so I don't think you'd have a problem.

i just got longer bolts and used washers to space the snubber up til it touches the spring

spider gears in the rear end seem to be a common thing to let go when using stickies, something to be aware of

you do have a driveshaft safety loop right?
