fouled plugs

I seem to remember many posts in the last site about plug fouling and how it effected our engines.
I cannot find those posts here.
I'm looking for an explanation to my last visit to the dealership.
They denied my claim on my powertrain waranty because of mods. It turns out the truck just needed new plugs!
I've read in the mags. about fouled plugs due to the oil buildup in the intake. Can this be the cause of previous prob? I have not replaced my chip since the visit for fear of the plug prob. and I miss the performance that I had with the chip!
The truck has been running great with the new plugs, will they foul again with the chip?
Some help here, I miss the chipped "L"

Your chip didn't cause the fouled plugs--unless it was tuned to be 'pig-rich'. Why not put it back on--the dealer is already aware?

Unwanted oil in the intake area might foul the plugs but I think there is a more likely chance for detonation. I f you want to stop oil getting in your intake, get a 7/16" ball bearing and place it inside the 3/8" PCV valve hose(at the valve). This will disable the PCV system and stop the unwanted oil. If you do this, you must also install an oil cap breather and you may need to put a breather on the left cam cover in place of the tube that connects to the intake boot(plug the hole in the boot now too).
