Ford SVO Superchargers

Several years ago in a Ford Motorsport magazine, there was a whole section on Gen 1 Lightnings. It showed all of the hop up's, for that time, for Gen 1's. It showed a picture of a supercharger that said Ford Motorsport SVO(pre Ford Racing Performance Parts). It was identical to a powerdyne, belt-drive and everything. I was wondering if anybody knew if there was any still in existence and where I might pick one up. Thanx!!

The Ford SVO supercharger was made by Powerdyne and the Ford SVO label was put on it. They are one and the same. I don't know if any of the ones with the Ford SVO label are still around. You could try a lot of Ford Dealerships though and see.:)

Contact Powered by Ford.
Incidently, I bought my SVO blower through Powered by Ford and it came drop shipped from Powerdyne with the powerdyne label on it. If you do find one with SVO on it, I personally would hesitate before buying just to make sure it is the upgraded BD-11A unit. Rumor has it there are a few still unsold problematic BD-10 blowers out there,

I bought mine thru poweredbyford last year, and it is a bd11a, and has the SVO nameplate.

Yes they are still around. I bought one for my 97 F-150 4.6. It is a powerdyne, BD-11. The ones for the GEN 1 have a CARB #. They are still advertised in the Motorsport catalouge. Southwest Texas Ford dealer had the best prices at the time. May of 2001.
