just called ford, going to nissan next, but they had no replacement bulb info, or lenses. he said i had to buy the whole light replacement..how much $160.00... f'ing crazy? anyone else bought just the bulb?

If you just need the bulb, take the old one out and get a new one at Wal-Mart or your local auto parts store. The bulb is a generic H-3 or something like that. Nothing special. Just pull the two metal clips aside on the front of the lens and unplug the bulb. Then just pull the little spring clip off the back of the light lens/reflector assembly and there's your bulb! (It will hafve a little wire still attached to it.) If you need a lens, the Nissan dealer can hook you up. I'm sure somebody will pipe up and give the number. I bought two new ones, but lost the number...

i took it apart, the other day, saw the wire attached to the bulb, do you cut the bulb from the wire? also asked autozone for a replacement bulb they had none. cant believe ford wanted 160.00--each--!!

55W H3 Halogen bulb is what you need. Here's a JC Whitney link to see what they look like and rough prices.

Looks like you'll have to copy and paste the link into your address window to get there.

just looked up on the old parts list that was posted on here before the lock down---

Gen 1 Nissan Fog Lamp Lenses 999F1-AA003

But you should be able to just replace the bulb. I did it quite a few times. I did a rewire on them cause they kept burning out the bulbs... But I need to replace the glass lenses.... Mine are all cracked.... Yeah they are EXPENSIVE!!!!!!!!

Good Luck!!
