Feb 10th meeting

Well for those of you who missed the meeting this is what happened. We had 13 members, at the meeting today. After some food and beer were consumed, we tried to get some issues worked out. Vern was unable to attend today do to the fact that he came down with the flu. I was nominated and seconded for the job as a VP of the MKLO, so now we have 2 VP's Shane & myself.

Next months meeting will be March 10th at 12:00 pm at Fuddrucker's on Noland Rd. I spoke with the Assistant Manager and work out a deal with them for our group. We will have a reserved area and a 20% discount on food and drinks

Also Neil has offered to host April's meeting (April 14th) at his house, with a barbecue. Time & details to be announced.

Rhonda has agreed to make a calender showing all of the auto related events in the area that may interest us. If you have any events you would like placed on the calender please e-mail her the information. So will be handing out a updated calenders through the year.

Greg will be coordinating events in Bethany.

Dave will be coordinating events in Osborne.

Shane will be coordinating events in Topeka.

Roger will be coordinating autocross events in the KC area.

Greg and Rhonda will be coordinating car shows and cruises in
KC area.

Dave is also going to get the final numbers on what an MKLO banner will cost us and price to have shirts made. Anyone that has an idea or design for the shirts please bring them to the next meeting.

Hi All. Yes it was a great meeting. I guess maybe I missed something cause I was at the other end of the table, but I thought we just added another VP (VP#1 (Shane) & VP#2 (Shawn) on equal ground) so that we would have an officer in the greater KC area and enhance the chances of having at least one of the 'top 3' at a meeting. If I've got something dis-com-bobulated, and was spending too much time looking at the geography <g> lemme know.

One of the focal points was that we wouldn't try to target too many events at a time; i.e. May = drag racing (WFC), June = Auto-X (3 events to pick from; all at Arrowhead); July = drag racing/show; Fun Ford Weekend @ KCIR...you get the picture. There are also got some events to schedule in for Bethany, Heartland Park, etc..


BTW Shawn, great work on getting FuddRuckers! With a 20% discount we may want to make it our 'home'!?!

P.S. Rhonda; If you want I can do something on Auto-x for the newsletter every month. Lemme know a word count and a deadline and we'll go from there...

Sorry I was unable to attend!

On top of getting home extremely late from the titty clubs, I was unable to make it! LOL I wanted to come, but I figured it'd be crappy out side beings that there was a lot of snow and ice on the ground last night when we closed down the club!

I got my front tank dropped this afternoon and am working on how I want to cap off the lines!

I'll deffinately be at the next one! Sundays are hard though!

even thought i was a little late we did get a few thing's done. it was a little loud but all in all it was productive. good job on the 20% maybe it will be a little quieter. you guy's be good .

vern...i'm speaking in a whisper so the flu bug can't hear me; its been running rampant thru my house, but has missed me so far.

It has the wife quaranteed to the bed, which in and of itself isn't a bad thing <g>, but she's got a 102 fever still <ack>
