Factory Tech Valve Body

I'm thinking about purchasing the PSP Factory Valve Body from Sal and was wondering how easy the install is? And also wondering does anyone have any pictures of them installing it? And will my chip need a reburn for it to take full advantage of the valve body?

:confused: :m :confused:

I have the factory tech. module installed in my 00'L. The install is really easy the hardest part is to drain the fluid out without making a mess. I loosend the bolts so that one end of the pan could drop down a little at a time so as to catch the fluid into a pan. I put a new Ford pan with a drain in it back on. You do not need a chip reburn for it to gain full advantage.

I just installed the factory tech valve body this weekend. It was very easy to do, straight forward and no gimicks! If you are running a chip now then it is recomended that you have it reburned. The valve body will take care of the transmission much better than the chip in stock form will. There are other modifications that can easily be made when the trans is apart including a manual gear selection valve and a coasting clutch mod.

stock = psp valve mod?

will i bennefit with a stock 2001 L and the psp valve body mod on my transmision?would this effect warranty?:b

Big tranny pans = :tu:

The Ford techs at the dealerwill not be able to tell that you have the valve body installed by looking at it. The factory tech valve body uses a Ford valve body with different springs and a line mod valve (sonnax valve). The ford techs at the dealer will not get involved in a tear down of the transmission. You'll be gald that you installed it!
