Fabulous Fords Forever 2016

Happy New Year! Time to think about getting ready for our annual trip to Fab Fords car show.

This year it will be on Sunday, April 17, 2016. As usual, many of us plan to caravan down on the preceding Friday, and some will come home right after the show while a few will stay Sunday night and come home Monday morning.

To register for the show (registration open now, first come/first serve until sold out or March 31, whichever comes first) click here:
http://www.fabulousfordsforever.org/

Note: Entry is by pre-reg only; no day-of registrations taken, as this show usually sells out.
Also, if you want, you can order tickets for entry into Knott's Berry Farm with your registration.

To reserve a room, contact the Knott's Berry Farm Resort Hotel:
Address: 7675 Crescent Ave, Buena Park, CA 90620
Phone: (714) 995-1111
Use code FABFORDS16 for the special rate.

Saturday night group dinner: If you want to attend the dinner show at Medieval Times with us, you can buy and print your tickets online now at www.MedievalTimes.com. We will attend the 6pm show on Saturday, April 16, the night before the car show. Make sure you select the Buena Park Medieval Times location! Get the General Admission tickets ($61). Help us celebrate Don's birthday! ;)

Directions/timeline for caravan will be posted nearer to the date of the show.

Last year a few of us attended the Donut Derelicts cruise-in. We had a great time checking out all the rods & customs. We hope to do so again early Saturday morning. All are welcome. (I had my first 'cronut' there. Mmmmm! )

After that, I would suggest we cruise down and tour the Hillbanks Motorsport facility. They sell Shelby Cobras, Daytona Coupes, and Superformance vehicles.

Saturday night we usually get together for dinner. I think last time we went to the Pirates dinner show, didn't we? That would make this year prime for Midieval Times. We will make reservations later @ http://medievaltimes.com/buenapark.aspx.

PS: Now that my new front brakes are on, I think I will try to get my matching rear brakes on before this show!

We are registered for the show and look forward to it every year. I hope we can get a large group together for this annual event especially those that haven't been able to make it the past couple of years.

Saturdays Donut Derelicts cruise in was awesome and a must do in my book. The donuts were pretty darn good as well.

A tour of the Hillbanks Motorsport facility on Saturday is a great idea and something new for us to do. Last years tour of Surf City was a great last minute surprise, thanks to the folks we met at Donut Derelicts.

Hey Guys, this is always a favorite time of year for me and last year was one of the most enjoyable yet when you guys come down.

So Rita and I are going to get married, I proposed to her in August. We are both very excited and relieved we found each other. So the, basically,.....um.... looks like the wedding is on the 17th, lol. No we didnt plan this and it was just a coincidence. After we reserved the date and went home we both realized it might conflict with the show, lol. Sorry Alex, I couldnt change the time so you could attend.

Anyway, just wanted you guys to know. Hopefully that Friday or Saturday we can all get together and have our own little celebration with you guys.

Hope all is well with you and take care.
