How do the tips look? Overall that didn't come out badly. Maybe a couple of little bullet resonators before the muffler?

I added a cheap one behind the axle on the white truck to mellow out the post-turbo sound a bit, and it worked pretty well. Before the muffler on yours, it seems like it would soften the tone.

On my SS, I installed insert baffles in the tips, and that calmed the LS3 rasp considerably.

I have a small set of cats in there to cut down the smell and sound. I like the sound at idle and cruising, but haven’t opened it up yet. It’s got a couple pinch bends near the tips, but everything else is mandrel. All 3”.

The more exhaust kits I buy, the more I look at them as boxes of raw materials that are almost guaranteed to include all the pieces I need to install an exhaust, but not without needing a lot of work to get them there.

I definitely maybe spent too much on the wheels, but they make up for the other flaws in the truck aesthetics. I wish the front came in an 8” width. Weld S77s. They are in the Weld catalog for our trucks. These are 17x7 fronts and 15x10 rears.

Revision 3 to the exhaust. It was too loud. Did something different. Very happy with the idle and revs. Need to drive it later this week.

Full length, all mandrel stainless. Equal length dual 3” into single 4”. Vibrant resonators at the collectors. Largest straight through magnaflow I could fit (almost 30”). Dropped idle from 103db to 87db and completely eliminated the rasp. During testing just the equalization loop dropped it 8-10db.
