Guys Im running ET streets and the book says to run tubes with them. I dont do any of you guys run tubes and should I be doing it to.Thanks

The thought behind not running tubes in the ETStreets or slicks,is to get more even pressure across the tread. With tubes there is less pressure at the outside edge of the tire.I don't know how much difference it makes but that is the theory.I know guys running the ETStreets without tubes and theyjust have to keep an eye on tire pressure cause they'll leak off a little sitting in the garage from week to week. You should be OK.

I don't run tubes in mine..... but if you decide to run tubes you will need to screw the tires to the rims

I do run tubes in mine with screws. I just feel safer with them because I ride to the track with 25 pounds of air and let down to 14-15 pounds at the track. The track is only about a 20 minute ride.

IMHO the only reason to run tubes is if you drive on the street a lot. dont have to worry as much about getting a flat tire

Buy not running a tube you have less rotating weight. And anytime you can reduce rotating weight you gain ET. It take less HP to make a 10 lbs. wheel go around then it does a 12 lb wheel. So by getting rid of the tube you have less rotating weight. I have run both ways and can't say that I could tell much difference in ET. A tube is the safer way to go. And you have to run a metal vavle stim when you run slicks or faster then 11.99.

On my other set of ET's, I ran no tubes and screws for a while, and got tired of them leaking! So I ran tubes, and kept twisting them and ripping the intertubes!

On my new set I run the tires and no screws or tubes, but these tires don't walk around the rim like my old set did!
