Ok gang,

Petsgt and I brought my Black 01 and his 2000 GT to Cecil for the first time on Sat....first time at a track for both of us. It was cold, didn't even need ice to cool down the intake between runs. There were about 300 cars there...many more than I expected for December. Temp was around 50 degrees, and it was cloudy in the morning. It had rained the night before.

Observations: Being that it was good air, everybody was making horsepower, but because the sun did not hit the track until the afternoon, traction was poor in the morning due to the the rain from the previous day. I ran my truck 4 times, 3 times with F1's, and the final run with ET streets.

Here are my results:

1st run....11:38 am....on F1's

60' 2.217
1/8 8.874
MPH 82.35
1/4 13.622
MPH 104.33

2nd run....1:09pm....on F1's

60' 2.136
1/8 8.739
MPH 82.54
1/4 13.479
MPH 104.47

3rd run....2:41pm....on F1's

60' 2.075
1/8 8.655
MPH 82.81
1/4 13.402
MPH 104.01

4th run.....3:55pm....on ET Streets

60' 1.988
1/8 8.570
MPH 82.04
1/4 13.336
MPH 103.64

My truck had 1500 miles on it during theses runs. Not too bad for my first time. As I learn how to launch the truck, and the truck loosens up, times should improve from here. Can't wait till spring!!!
