Empty Driveway

Well, my beloved L2 is now sitting in the dealers garage getting a new motor put in. They told me a couple days. We'll see.
I'm already going nutz. Looking out and seeing an empty driveway just wasn't cutting it, so I put the Ranger there. Now that's not cutting it! Who want's to borrow me their L2, just for awhile so I can admire it, maybe play only a little? Maybe just drive by the house?

I guess I'll just go home and play some sad music on the phonograph.......so long fellas..............Froggy

Don't feel so bad my truck has been at JDM's shop since Dec 16th.

I should have had it back in January, I am freeking out and going through major withdrawles.

Driveway Full of Red

Got her back today. Hmmm......no scratches, no dents, at least that I can see without maybe sitting on the cold ground with a magnifying glass. Didn't hammer it til I got close to home, just to see if she still had heart. I hit it fairly hard after already taking off from a stop near my house and immediately started going sideways. Pretty good but I'll reserve judgement til she's broken in good. New motor, new intercooler, new foglight, wiper recall done, I feel a lot better about the upcoming season. I celebrated by cleaning her up.:tu:

Just got my 2000 out of the shop. Same noise as yours. Ford first told the dealer that this sound was normal, hoping that I would just go away, I don't think so! Got me a new engine and they fixed the drivers side front wheel, you know the washers issue. Another thing that Ford claims that is a alignment problem-yeh mine, NOT! Had to fight Ford all the way. Just a little RESPECT for us Lightning owners PLEASE.

Besides all of this BS, I LOVE MY "L".
