Dodged a ticket this morning on PGA!

I got lucky this morning. I was coming down east on PGA Blvd after getting off the turnpike behind a car going the speed limit (45). I changed lanes from the left lane into the middle lane and accelerated up from 45 to 52ish when I saw a cop on a motorcycle with his radar gun up on a side road. I cursed quite a bit and let off the gas. He flicked his lights on and pulled out into traffic and was coming up behind me. There was a black Chevy truck in the far right lane who had been going a little slower than I was - probably around 50.

I decided to stay in the middle lane so it would be harder for him to pull me over if he chose me, especially once I crossed Military Trail and went under 95 up to Alt. A1A - fairly congested. He came up behind me, then changed over to the right lane and blipped his siren and pulled the black Chevy over! Whew!!!

I feel bad for that guy, I was actually going a little faster than him. I am going to hook up my Valentine-One tonight for sure!! and drive slower on that stretch of road from now on. I always see those motor cycle cops on side roads on my way home on PGA, but never see them there in the morning.

I passed a motorcycle cop in Delray Bch today, he was on the side of the road using the laser gun to raise revenues. I remembered him being there when I went back to work and purposely went by him at 5mph under the speed limit (25 in a 30) . My bosses daughter wasn't so lucky as he nailed her at 48 in a 30 and wrote her for the full deal, and it is even her birthday. Oh well, guess it was a good thing I was undercover in the 02 Sable rental and not in the fearsome L.

Lucky...

I'm certain that I speak for many of us but I've been very luck. The last and only ticket I ever got was 30 years ago this coming May 12 - the night before I got married!!!!! Now that I have a Lightning I'm afraid my time may be up - big time! Should probably have had my license suspended for the some of the things I've done. Good luck to the rest of you guys.

I just installed a jammer and police scanner in my truck this weekend. I strongly suggest everyone gets one. It is awsome to know where they are sitting.
