Do Your Wheel Alignments at Home?

I was just browsing some alignment racks and this popped up in a search engine

http://www.tru-line.net/

I dont know how much this system is or how accurate but it seems like something a backyard garage mechanic could use.

Anyone have any expierience with this system or similar?

It would be nice to do them yourself instead of spending money for technicians lacking alignment expertese.

Thats the machine that I use to align with.I have done everything from my lightning to $475,000 ZL2 vettes.Works great!!! Is easy to keep calibrated and simple to use.Sometimes it and the turn tables go to the events with me for last min changes.
But remember this the machine is only as good as the operator.

Ruslow, would you recommend the race setup or regular system?

How much and where did you pay for yours?

Thanks
Anthony

For all of it I payed about 5 grand. That included the roll around box and the calibration beam.I can ck sometime this week and see if this guy I know still has any used ones[buys them form WalMart]If so can get for around 350 bucks but wont have the roll around box.Stan
I use the regular set up.Like I said it is only as good as the operator, but you will NEED a level floor and turn tables to do it rite.
Mine is on an alignment rack that I set up and is level to within1/64 of an inch in the air and is dead on when it is on the stops[leveled with laser]
