Different exhaust

Okay, the dual Delta flows and stock tails must go. It's just to loud! I'm thinking of installing Spintech's truck mufflers. I only want a perf sould when WOT. Otherwise I want it to sound stock. Any suggestions are welcome.

Where Y'at Nick, I don't see to many Ls with the Edelbrock but thats what I have. At idle its just a little rumble and small roar at 65-70. Very ez install. Most of the 5.0 guys think its too quite but I like them.

We just got through putting a complete 2.5 exhaust system consisting of a Dr. Gas Xpipe and 2.5 Spintechs with turndowns on my dads 78 T-bird with a 400m wearing some 351 4barrel cleavland heads and a roller cam conversion, haven't had it dynoed yet but it feels like a haus.

Anyhow, the spintechs actually get quieter as the rpms raise, atleast with the x-pipe anyway. I spoke to the owner of Spintech and he like so many others said that their mufflers were designed around using the x-pipe.

I've heard the X-pipe sound on mustangs before, you know that exotic car sound, with the addition on the spintechs this thing sounds wicked.

Really deep, open idle, raspy with throttle and very little resonance.

We have Spintech's on the wifes 01 GT and they do sound great, however they are somewhat loud. Not loud enough for me not to like them though...... When you downshift in the GT it burbles soooo nice! and really grabs you when you get on it! Ive been thinking of changing the Bassani muff out for a Spintech one on the L.
