Do some of you guys remember the guy who had a white Mustang with the custom flames. Well he just got Purplene flames on his 2001 PT cruiser and it looks good. The painter who done this is a good painter and I might do a custom one off grafic on both sides of my truck. I am undecided as to the extent of paint and colors used but I won't do it unless it is done tastefully:cool: I will leave the lightning emblem on and display our colors:D What do you guys think is there room to spend money on looks or should I put the money in GO FAST PARTS:D to::: Quote ole blue eyes

Dennis, what kind of graphic were you thinking. I think it would have to be one or the other. Either graphic and no lighting sticker, or the other way around. If you did both it might look too busy.

Hey Dennis,
If the flames you are talking about are the ghost flames, I think it would look good even with the Lightning logo as long as it is worked into the whole theme of things.

just my .02

Maybe you are right the Lightning sticker might have to go but with goast flames it might stay. I am trying to stay away from flames but who knows Just like the wheels I need to be different!!!!! I will be looking in books if anyone see's a cool truck with not to wild side grafics E-mail me with the pic for an idea!!!

Hey Dennis? What about some ghost lightning bolts?
I've also recently been thinking about some graphics, not for the L though. Just something to break things up a bit, not paint either. Some real good vinyl decals, something I could remove if I didn't like it, but would look good, not cheesey. Maybe some tribal design or something.
I dunno..................

Dennis,
If the spell checker police (AKA Justin) had wanted to get you, he would have gotten you on spelling graphics incorrectly. Either he is slipping up or Team Sneaky is up to no good and he has no time to correct everyone.:D

That gives me an Idea for the club logo Picture this a <<< soft serve cone with a mean look on it's face wearing sun glasses and a set of MT drags coming off of the sides tilted forward in a smokey holeshot with a CHUTE coming out the back>>> Not if you can imagine this it would be so cool. Yea !! I would put it on my truck, right on the hood :D

Dennis, only if you get the music to go along with it :D Actually Dennis, I say go for the go fast parts. You have one of the nicest looking L's I've ever seen, already!

Hey Dennis, go for the flow. Leave that truck's paint alone. It is great looking the way it is. Just my opinion.

Dennis,
The spelling looks good to me. :D
I with Larry and Bill. You have one of the top 5 best looking trucks I have ever seen. Keep it that way. (Thats Just what I think)

Hey Dennis, you could always go for the candy cane look like Captain

NO YOU CAN'T DENNIS!!!!!!

The "Captain's Candy Cane" paint scheme is patented and cannot be used without the written consent of Captain. Anyone who wishes to use this will also have to pay Captain a large royalty for the rights to reproduce it. ($2,000 should be sufficient to get it all painted, LOL)

Actually, yesterday I pulled the roll pan off & installed the trailer hitch and stock tube bumper. A few days before that, I took off the white bedcover & went back to the black soft cover. The only "stripe" left is the hood, lol.
I'm definitly not happy about the trailer hitch, but suprisingly I missed the tube bumper. I kinda like it & figured the stock bumper will be a little sturdier for towing & is a little extra insurance when I'm backing up to hook up the race car trailer. The trailer tounge would go right through that fiberglass roll pan if I miss judged the distance! And the soft cover will be easier to load/unload equipment, tools, & supplies at the track than the hard cover.

Yeah Captain, good idea to keep a cover on the truck. You never know when tool box drawers will fly open, or tires and coolers might fall out going down the 1320  So how good is the paint on the tube bumper, red or pink? If its pink then the candycane will look like one with the colors running after it was dipped in hot chocolate.

OUCH!
Low blow on the tool box drawers comment buddy, LOL!
The paint is good on the bumper, no running colors on this candy cane!
