Converter Sux!!!!!!

Either im loosing it or my mind is playing with me or the stock converter sux major!!!......maybe i can get some feed back from you guys.....when i race out of the hole the truck performs beautifully.....now when i race rolling on any gear it seems like the truck pull for a bit in the begging of the gear the begins to slip.......see now this only happens when i race rolling but when i race from a dead stop this doesnt happn........what do u guys think?? i need some comments and sugestions....please

This is normal. Your converter is unlocking and locking up when it needs to. It feels funny but that is how a electronic tranny works.

I`m suprised more L guys don`t swap out the stocker..

A 3500 stall will drop .5 to .7 guaranteed and sometimes up to a full second on an LS1. Completely streetable too.

3500 may flash pretty high tho on an L considering the TQ of the truck. Not sure where the power band is but an aftermarket stall is the best mod for an auto.
