Cobra show

Ok, here is the registration form for the Cobra show.

Here is the web page:http://www.svtcobraclub.com/mainpage.html
I talked to Channing McLeod today about this show. He is interested in seeing a bunch of Lightnings at the show. The Cobra Club is large enough that they rent track time at drag strips and road courses. Three road courses this year. These are private sessions. He would be happy to see more of us. I told him we could probably get 15 or 20 trucks at his show. If this is true, he needs to know so Gwinnett Ford has time to make room in their parking lot. He's planning on 50 Cobras.
What do you folks think?

Come on!!

You guys are welcome to come to our show. That is the reason we added the categories of special interest. There will actually be a fox category and a special interest category so you won't be mixed in with the fox bodies. I'm assuming Whtltg is Walt Henderson? Or am I right?

Anyway, we added the category because many of our members own both a Cobra and a Lightning. This allowed them to enter the show.

We are also having a drag day on March 16, 2002 at Carolina Dragway. The last time we had 5 L's there. Maybe some of you can make it this time around. The cost is $40.00 but if you get ten guys to come then I'll go $35.00, the same rate as the SCMC.
There will be 10-11 trophies for different E.T.s and a bracket king eliminator award. The winner gets a $50.00 gift certificate from Next Generation Parts. Check out our website and look at those cool L's burning rubber. www.svtcobraclub.com

This will be fun to watch... when the 03 Cobras come out and give you guys a little more heat. ;)

Later,

Better be prepared to bring a little more than a stocker for some of the modded Gen 1's hangin' around!!! LOL!!

I hope to get to the both the show and the races. My wife loves Cobras and if all goes well, I may be able to ante up for an 03 or an 04.

Can't wait to check out your clubs' cars.............:tu:

We'll have some S/C vortech Cobras there and did I mention, the F-Body club is coming too. ;) Better be careful because if you look at the pics, you'll see they don't mess around. LOL.....

yea, your right. WHTLTG is Walt Henderson. sold the cobra and bought a white lightning with screaming eagles on the doors. a few mods of course were in order/few more coming. nitrous very soon, about 2 weeks. then i'll really be flying. looking forward to seeing some of the old cobra crew. deffinately interested in the sc track run. keep me informed. and deffinately will be at gwinnett ford show.

Sa-weeeet!!! I'm not sure if there is a car I'd love to own more than a S/C Modular Cobra. Can't wait to see them.

F-bods are always fun too. Some are hunters, and some are the hunted----ya never know.

I just hope I can get my stroker........uh, um, I mean, uh, my factory stock 351W rebuilt before then......:D

Guys if you plan on coming to the dragstrip then go ahead and send in your registration form and fee. This will help in giving everyone more track time and allow Channing and I to process everyone at the gate a lot quicker. The cost goes up for everyone on March 1, 2002 to $50.00. What you are getting now is an early registration discount. We have a rain date so not to worry about rain. The track personnel know what kind of club we are and they treat us right. You can get the registration form off our website www.svtcobraclub.com .

Walt, It's good to see you are doing okay and I hope you can make the strip. See you in a few weeks ;)

With Charlie leading the way, I'm on!
