Chip-Only Blown Engine

Has anyone out there blown an engine just running a chip, no spray or larger pulley ?

There's a thread started on f150online.com about current blown engs. You might want to check it out although, there were none with just a chip--when I read it last.

Do a search on f150 online for J.D. Blackwell. I believe his engine blew w/o a chip or pulley. I could be wrong.

My guess is that none had mods when they were blown.
