I have just started to get some mods done to my L. Last weekend, I made my first dyno run (SAE corrected) along with JJ of JJSSVT.com. The only mod on the 2/23/02 run was a JDM intake kit. I pulled a 356.0 HP and 431 TQ reading in 3rd gear.
On Monday, JJ installed a JDM chip (J49) and 2lb lower pulley along with line mod valve and 4x4 trans pan. I drove the L home Tuesday and noticed a HUGE difference in performance, to describe more accurately I held a very tight grip on the steering wheel when making boost.
Today, I made a run under virtually identical condictions 60.0 degrees Farenheit, BARO 29.71. On this 3rd gear pull I made 381.0 HP and 464.4 TQ, equating to 25 HP and 33 TQ gains. I am very pleased with the results and looking to forward to see how these gains equate to ETs. I am hoping for 12.9s at least on street tires but we'll see. Thanks again to JJ. I highly endorse him for customer service and mechanical ability and am a big fan of JDM products also.
