Check out this link.

Love the wheels. The blue dash has GOT to go. Looks tacky. The seat belts are cool, though. Uhh....300hp stock motor?? That would be nice.

Nice looking truck over all though. Man that motor is clean!!

One less Lightning in the world.... I mean, to me, its not what a Lightning was meant to be, but to each their own.

Jeff

perhaps its the better areodynamics that allow for the 1/2 second reduction in time, and not the K&N :m

The dash is...well...let's just say it's not my choice of colors. He did a he!!uva lotta body work, but didn't chop the top??? I think a sliced top would have really shortened it up sweet.

I believe someone posted that truck a while back on the old board and if im not mistaken that is the same truck that had the 22s and the Vortech sticking out of the hood that someone posted a little before the old board crashed. I think its kinda cool to see what one of our trucks look like slammed and shaved but that doesnt mean I would do it to mine.:D

How are the top of the 5-point harnesses attached? I've always wanted a pair for mine but couldn't figure out where to bolt them. Otherwise, truck is kind of weird, I guess I wouldn't mind having it. Probably gets a ton of looks.

I think I saw that truck in person at the Indy Truck Bash, with 22's like K_Walls said.. And well, it made me cry seeing it. I agree that's not the image the Lightning was destined to have... I just don't like it, that's my personal opinion, but if someone else likes it more power to them, but when I run over ya at 150MPH don't be whinin :D

If you think this Oakdale, Pennsylvanian's Ford has been turning heads, you are right. With the help of Jody Hall of Pikeville, Kentucky, Dave Duncan of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and Pat Ireland of Oakdale, Pennsylvania, the Ford had won numerous awards and will probably continue to do so. It's no surprise that the Lightning won the "Lowest Vehicle" award at the 6th Annual Indy Truck Bash in Indianapolis, Indiana.

I've been by Jody's shop, it looks like a crappy garrage from the outside, but man oh man the stuff he slams. A guy I know has a Silverado with a 2/4 drop by him. Guy is expensive from what I hear, but he's good.

Yeah Jody is the man when it comes to slamming Ford's or anytruck. He does alot of good work, you see alot of the trucks he's done in magazines.

I've seen the truck in person also, very nice truck. Take's balls to do that do an L, I give him props.

another dead lightning.

the suspension better be stiff cause when it shifts it would break it's ground effects.

i would like to see his real et's.

And, umm, not just a low rider, but a lord of the blings ricer conversion.

blech.

Just curious as to why you call it rice?

4 mm's of ground clearance.
around here the ricers use that style of clear tail light.

ricer type wheels.

interior.

it screams "BLING" to me.

If that pic is old, he's changed wheels... Those aren't ricer wheels either, they're European in decent(you know where cars are BOTH FAST and COMFY?)

Also the truck isn't that low when driving, he airbag'd it so all he has to do is hit a switch and it looks like just another lowered L... Probably raises a good 4"..

I sure as hell wouldn't put the money into lowering it like that...But now he has a Vortech on it...Looks like sh!t, since the body drop caused the vortech to stick out the hood...

SWEET!!! No lightnings lost, better than seeing one sitting in the scrap yard. He needs to cut the roof way down. :tu: :tu: :tu:
