Hello,
I'm soon going to pull of my heads and get them ported and polished with a valve job. I was wondering should I go ahead and change my cam while am in it or not? What kind of difference will it be if I went with the 35-255-5 comp cam over the stock cam? Is it worth the time and money?? I also plan on running a set of 1.7 RR. Would they work well with this cam or not? Any help would be great.

The crane compucam/L cam (crn-444232 summit) is a certified smog legal cam. I think both would work real nice with 1.7 rr and ported heads. Although the comp peice is made to give a bit more down low while still maintaining good uper RPM power. HOTROD has the comp with 1.72rr and trick flows and some other stuff I am sure going low 13s. But anyway, YA do a cam swap!LOL
