Chance to gather for group picture....

I am working on getting approval to use my employers parking lot as a staging area for a group picture.

The idea is that if we can get 20-30 trucks to show up, we can assemble them and thier drivers and I can go up to the 6 th floor and get a decent arial picture of the group.

Do you guys think this would be worth the trip ? The Parking lot is 1 block west of 635 and Luna

This is open to Everyone.. The more the merrier...

The parking lot can handle more trucks than we can assemble. The more trucks we get the higher Ill go . 6 Trucks we can take it from the second floor- 50 trucks and ill go to the 6th floor. WIth any luck I can get the security guards to take a picture for us so I can run down....

I got approval to do it any Saturday.... Maybe we should make a day of it - Pictures - Lunch - Tour of the country ....

Expect to be cajoled in to particpating in more events of you are a newbie who shows up for the picture.

I've seen at least 2 other Gen 1's in Grand Prairie that I don't think know about this board. If I can get some of those flashy business cards, I can stop by and invite them to show up. Well, I guess I could stop by and talk to them anyway. So what is the official date for this? And what is the truck count so far? Please don't say THIS Saturday or Sunday.

We also need someone to step up and help organize a cruise or something that day....

At college for the "Texas A&M Sports Car Club" we had these business cards called, "Sharp Car!" where it had our next meeting time/location filled in on the back, we'd put it on "prospective" cars...

Got a good number of recruits that way...

Just another idea to encourage unfamiliar Lightnings we see at random places as a little "flyer" of sorts...'cept it's business card sized and says, "Nice Truck!" see back for our next meeting, bla bla...

I would urge all of you who haven't bought the 5-mile FRS radios to buy one before the cruise. Its kind of fun being able to BS with everyone in a convoy!
