Cervini's Ram-Air Hood - functional?

Talked to a guy for a couple minutes about my truck at a gas station. He said there is a girl at his high school that has an '01 white Lightning with a ram-air hood. I've seen it around town. I told him I was pretty sure it wasn't functional, because I read on the board that Cervini's still hasn't produced the kit to connect it to the intake. Is that still the case? After I told him that, he said he thought it had a "modified kit from the Cobra ram-air hood." I think that was high-school kid B.S.

Toss a disposable camera in your console so when you see her the next time, shoot some photos (under her 'hood' of course) hehe

Unles it is a one-off unit, I dont believe Cervinis have released this kit.

its not worth it anyways.... to much trouble... and i serious doubt that it is a cervini's ram air kit if it does have ram air on it....

So far as I know Cervini's has made only one functional kit and that was for MM&FF for the Fridge. Worked well, but I think they thought it would be too expensive for the hood and unit (prolly well over a grand) and canned the idea.

When I ordered my truck I talked to Cervini's quite a bit about the ram air kit. At first they emailed me back within a day or two and said it would be just another few weeks and the cost for the ram air kit would be around $200. After this went on for a few months they quit emailing me back. They obviously don't need our business or they would at least email back and say that the kit isn't going to happen. Now I don't know if I even want their hood.
