Cam swap and EEC tuner

Hey Raymond, I'm thinking about a roller cam conversion with a much better cam. How much benefit will I get from an EEC tuner? Trying to figure out some future options. How healthy a cam could I run? I've still got stock heads and intake.

Hi Adam, it's very important that you get a cam made for speed density.

A Tuner can help when you decide to change injectors, idle speed, shift points, converter lock up, rev limiter (although you'll still be limited by stock springs), etc.

I would say with being able to tune the truck yourself you could run a pretty healthy cam Give Cam Motion a call and talk to Terry.

No web site but cam motion's # is 225-926-6110 just make sure you tell him you need a sd friendly cam

Also it's about $300 for a custom cam but worth every penny
