Hey Steve its Berni and i have been trying to get those traction bars for awhile (3 month to be exact) and i still have not gotten them and it is going to be awhile longer. I have the money to either get the traction bars or a EEC Tuner. Since the traction are taking so long i am leaning more towards the tuner. My question is are those things to put on and once you get them on are they hard to tune your truck. Anyway can you please let me know. If i have it by the time we go to Bremerton will you help me tune the truck? I really dont know to much about computers so i will need a little help. TIA

Bernie, this is very reason I haven't got one as well. I am not computer literate either.
IMHO, I would not get the tuner and expect you will have tuning issues worked out before a particular deadline....
The tuner is an excellant tool for someone that is willing to dedicate their time in studying and understanding all the aspects of data logging. As you know there is an excellent customer service with it but you have to be an independant worker on the PC or you will get frustrated, I think. To me , the EEC tuner would be an excellant winter project.
I'm sure Mark is just as frustrated with the hardware packs not being available yet. When I got mine I had about a 6 week wait. You are at the mercy of Rancho and their schedule of making the parts. You know my feelings on the Ranchos- I wouldnt get caught at the track without them. Hang in there,

You think that i should just wait and get the Ranchos and then get the eec tuner or do you think that i should get a chip? I called everwhere and even called Rancho and they do not have the hardware for the kit and they had no idea when they would have them. I am just dont want to wait any longer becasue something might come up and i dont want to spend the money that i have saved up. But i guess i will wait on the Ranchos becasue i am getting a lot of wheel hop. What chip would you recommend. Thanks for all of your help Steve.
