boost

How much boost could i run with my vortech and stock injectors and speed density....... I have heads and a cam done ... ???

I'm running heads, stock cam, 6lbs boost, 12 to 1 FMU and 19lb injectors, 80psi and my wide band dyno last week was not too pretty. Horsepower was OK at 366 but Air Fuel was too lean for my comfort. Ranged between 12.0 to 12.8. I believe safe power is considered 11.5 to 12 to 1. Sent my chip back to see what they can do, then I'll get it back on the wideband to see. JMS did not seem overly concerned with my current Airfuel, but they said if and when I cam the motor the 19's have to go.
BTW, the thing about FMU's are the lower the boost the lower the fuel pressure, so you can be out of injector at 6 or 8lbs of boost, doesnt matter.

I have never heard of a cam effecting the injectors....... ????

I think he is means a better cam will make More HP and in turn need more fuel.

Thanks Marcus, Thats what I was getting at.
Talked to a few people yesterday, and they seem to think the 351 likes more fuel and says there is definately more horses if I can get the air-fuel between 11.5-12 to 1.
