Bilsteins shocks

Has any one put Bilsteins on their truck? What are the part #'s?

How did they work? Where did you get them? Ect.....

www.fordpartsonline.com is not sure if they can get them. But if they can they would be about $35.00 each.

(I did a search and only came up with one hit: Litl Sam asking about the twin tube Edelbrock IAS shocks and Chris Wilson said he was going to try the Bilsteins)

I have the bilstein shocks on my lowered truck and all I can say is that the ride is stiff, but I would rather go with Bilstein the then belltech shocks.(cause they were too soft.) Alex

I just ordered the gas adjustable KYB shocks. I hear that they are new and improved. They were recommended to me by a local auto worker because he has heard nothing but good things from others who have them. I mentioned the KYBs or Bilsteins to him and he automatically said KYB. And he wasn't making trying to make a sale because he just told me to call Summit. But I found a good deal locally (same price as at shox.com) so I'll get them in Thursday. Good bye rough ride!:)

I just bought some Bilstiens for my truck, but haven't had a chance to install them yet. I got mine from eshocks.com and they were to me in about a week. If you go to their website it will walk you though what year, make, and model of truck you have. Hope this helps you out.
