Big brake kit question...

Does anyone know the difference between Brembo kit 1319002A and 1329002A? They are the same price and the specs list the same, but they are two different kits?

Nope, the red, black or blue caliper option is a different thing on the end. :)

If you goto Brembo's page, there are 6 calipers listed, 3 of each color. I'm thinking one might be 12mm studs and one might be 14mm studs, but there isn't enough info on the page.

It's not the answer to your question, but I don't think either part numbers are the correct part numbers for a 2000 Lightning. You may want to double check with Brembo, but I think the correct part number is 131.9017A.

The 131.9002a is for two piece Drilled rotors

132.9002a is two piece slotted rotors

and I believe spike is right, 2000 and newer L is 131.9017a for drilled and 132.9017a for slotted.

Last time I spoke to Baer, they didn't fit a Lightning, I'll follow up.

I've spoken to Brembo, Stillen and MoveIT recently...MoveIT would be nice (Porsche brakes), but they say there's not enough interest for the application. :(

Baer = $$$$$$$, if you're wondering.

I spoken with MoveIt off and on over the last year, and you're correct: not enough interest. They will build one if you want, but expect to spend a lot of money.

Somewhere in this forum for NLOC.net is a thread that I mentioned the Moveit system (even some pix) and a local shop that is reasonable in comparison to the rest...(it might be two different threads:confused: )
