best dealer for lightning service

Don't go to Bob Allen on Metcalf; they acted like they hadn't seen a lightning and wanted to take it for a test drive after putting on a new side skirt. They also had the hood up revving my motor to hear the blower and exhaust.

Gary Crossley Ford is awsome. Todd Crossley is the service manager now and is one of the biggest SVT fans I've ever met. He used to race Formula Fords.

I cant believe the guys at Bob Allen were that unprofessional. Youd think they wouldnt be that awestruck...I thought they carried Roush Mustangs. Alls I know is stay away from Laird Noller in Lawrence. One of my friends worked there in High School washing the program cars and what not. He said they would purposely misdiagnose problems or tack on labor time.

One thing to keep in mind is that you do not have to take your SVT to an SVT dealer. I need some work done on a window motor and will take it to someone else.

The SVT doesn't mean alot other than the dealer paid an extra $15,000 to be able to sell the cars new. They may be offered additional info training but they don't necessarily go to it, or, one guy goes and then he leaves the dealership or something.

The other thing with Bob Allen was I brought my L in to make an appointment and specifically showed them the parts that were needed so that when I came in for service it would be completed at that time. I dropped it off and when I came back I was met with, "We're going to need to order parts." So basically I was there three time to get the work done and the panel has now come loose again.

The only good thing I can say is that they changed my plugs for $45 bucks.

Yes, I had alot of problems with Laird Noller in Lawrence......but only after the truck was signed for!

Tonnoeu cover took 3 tries to get it put on and paint was bad. They tried to leave me with the manufacturer without help. Still waiting for a call from salesman a week and a half later!!!!

yea
my trucks came from bob allen so i know about the service there. i was wondering about throughbred?? I take mind to pittsburg ks. my mechanic handles everything. I trust him and he drives mytrucks home to be sure they are fixed, knows if he fucks up he won't get a tip.

You know it's too bad, the fee to be an SVT dealer per year is just about a wash-out for the dealer. Unless they sell you undercoat, paint sealant, and fabric guard, that's how they build some profit in. Can't really blame them, they are in buisness to make money.

best dealer
