Wich is stronger? Getting the heads put on and I just wanted to know what you guys use. Thanks!

Studs,.....Deffinitely!!
The clamping force is greater and is more consistent,.......not to mention stronger all the way around !
I used studs on mine when I swapped my heads out a few months back!
There's only about $35 difference in the price.
Deffinitely worth it IMO !

I'll agree
I'll agree that studs are better, but only if they suit you. In a car such as my Capri, studs wouldnt be very smart. I would have to remove the engine from the car to get the heads off, there is not enough room in the engine bay to slide the heads up the stud to get the heads off.
Just food for thought.

So, is there enough room in our Ls to have studs? I mean will I have a hard time getting the heads on with the studs? The engine is not comming out of the L.
