Anyone need a good laugh?

Stop by Southgate Ford and look at the Boss 5.4. It's a regular F150 with a bad fitting body molding kit, a ugly aftermarket hood, some big chrome 20's and a hefty price tag. $35k and it can all be yours.

I will give it credit as the yellow paint they used looks good and the seats are done up nice. I have to say though the Reflexxion hood they have is ugly. Sorry if anyone has this hood, but a combination cowl induction/cobra ram air is just plain hideous. Pick one or the other. Looks like a pair of nostrils. Should've painted a big finger picking one of them. And it only cost $2k for the hood option.

I don't think it's a Ford product per say. I think it was taken to a shop and made up. I'll try to get some pics up tonight.

Does it come with a Lightning motor?

I believe it's just a stock 5.4. The extra sticker they had on the windshield that listed all the options didn't make any mention of performance upgrades. I'm not knocking the 5.4, it's a good motor and should make that truck move ok. For $35k, you could buy a lightning, put on an aftermarket hood, chrome 20's and some or all of the interior touches and have a much nicer ride. Just my $.02.

I'll be leaving in half an hour to get some pics. I'll try to get them posted tonight.
