Anyone named their trucks?

OK, I had an '86 Mustang (Lucy), and a '94 Ranger (Rusty), but never came up with a name for my Lightning, after a year of owning her (it's definately a her). Me and the missus were discussing this, and she's curious if anyone else out there has named their trucks ...

So, let's hear them :)

See my sig! It says it all. Thought of it a while back cause I couldn't get that devilish grin off my face while driving it.

cobrayankee LMAO, I agree whole heartedly.

Mine gets called Shotgun a lot cuz of the chrome tips I put on, (4"x20" rolled lip) (webpage in sig, click the side or rear pics of the truck, and look in the background for a fade with the tips)

Also, the fact that it resembles a double barrel waaay to much when it backfires, and it sounds like a gun or cannon or something going down the road......

Also, because with an automatic tranny, you basically just point and fire...

I like the name because it is given, rather than thought up by me, because it sticks more rather than me going around telling people and trying to convince a person that its name is this or that.

dunno why, but mine's Vanessa. i guess when i got her, i was in my Christine phase (completely obsessed with the movie and book) and figured that if arnie cunning ham could name his 1957 Plymouth Fury, then i can goddamn jolly well name my 1994 Ford Lightning. mike

The Crimson ***** aka DeeDee.

Named after a girl...ahem, a woman, who while she wasn't my first, she might as well have been for all that she taught me.

My parents always named their vehicles...Me, I only name my good vehicles...

RIP IT ALL DOWN,
CL

I named mine "Edison". Since Thomas Edison was instrumental in developing DC generators and lights and such, I thought "Edison" would be a fitting name for a "Lightning". The tag on my truck was also "HIVLTG" (High Voltage). I liked the tag because not only did it fit a "Lightning" truck but I also have a degree in Electrical Engineering from Mississippit State University and while there I spent some time in the High Voltage lab where we regularly created 3 million volt lightning strikes!!!! The coolest job I ever had. :D
