Curious as to the sound of these mufflers dumped, since I will be installing the companies x-pipe and headers. My old standby was going to be flowmasters to compiment the headers and x-pipe but I know they don't scavange as well with the x.

Suggestions. pics, etc. chime in!

I just put one on mine it is not that much loud I had tail pipe out the back I made the hanger and bought a collector from mac $15 dump $13 and I can switch them out it rumble just a bit more at idle it did not get louder in the cab going down the road. I have headers x-pipe with cats it sounds good just no the flowmaster sound

Nice dump. Dual in single out just can't stand up to two mufflers single in, single out from a sound perspective. I need to practice my welding, I want to get dual flowmaster 2chambers going. I want that sound simaler to all the mustangs. My truck sounds cool with the bassani stuff, but it just can't touch time honered flows. Sigh

Yes I know when I get my second car I want the mufflex with the single 5 1/2 inch oval and get rid of my bassani x-pipe with cats;)

You have two 2 chamber flowmasters stacked on top of each other, welded to a flange that bolts up to the intermediate pipe? Cool we'll work something out. I have the bassani muffler 2 in 1 out with the front exit cat back. It's about 6months old. What kind of tail pipe set up do you have(some pics might be nice).

I maybe in about a month I will post on the for sale board I have the dump plus 3 inch tail pipe out the back.

Yes, there are two 2 chamber flowmasters welded basically where the stock mufflers were just after the cat back flange. They are staggered, not stacked.

Just let me know.

Yeah but do you have it set up with tail pipes that go over the axle all the way to the back of the truck?

Tailpipes:

Yes, I have the tailpipe set up to go over the axle like the stock set up. I first ran dumps and my wife complained too much!
It sounded pretty sweet, though!

I took it to a muffler shop and had them run the pipes back out. They did it with the same size as stock, I think.

I will ttry to borrow a freind's digital camera Friday and get some pix for you.

Thats cool, I wanted either dumps or tail pipes out the side. You have the two mufflers and some pipeing I can cut it up and reweld it the way I like. Some pictures would be nice, I'll start thinking about how I want to weld it up. My exhaust is pretty new still this is what it is, this is right of PSP's web site "Cat back system - forward exit - polished dual tips.....................................................$470.58 ".
