Anyone into any indie, underground, or punk music on this board? If there was just one other person I would be somewhat suprised, but you never know. (anything like staind or nickleback doesnt count because they are on a major label....and they suck hahaha)

I work for an unsigned metalish band. I listen (among other extremes) to Nordic Death Metal (Bathory, Emperor, Samael).

hey kevin, does PAW count? they had one on an indie label and another on A&M i think. lawrence used to have a great music scene, but i haven't been around for a while. remember "sin city disciples", "stick", "tenderloin", "billy goat" and others which i have forgotten. man the '90's were great.-chris

Ezernut: yeah Lawrence's music scene isnt what it used to be from what Ive heard (I was a little too young in the early 90's to be very informed). But its still one of the top 20 underground music scenes in the U.S. I think. The big Lawrence area bands now are: Get Up Kids, Ultimate Fakebook, Appleseed Cast and a bunch more I cant think of off the top of my head.
Legion: death metals not really my thing cause all the bands sound the same and say the same thing, to me anyway. But still I respect how they stick all together and do thier own thing. You never see a death metal band sell out.

Anyway..anymore out there??
