All you guys who have traction bars???

Ok last night my dad and I took out the 93. Just cruisin to get some food. Well we hit a stopsign and take off. He hits it all the way to the floor. I feel the back end all over the place till 50!! I told him "man we gots some traction problems". He told me last night to check on here and ask some ?'s. So are they ugly looking under the trucks? How much do they help? How much $$$? We cant have starts like that at the local track also were probably getting some street e/t's soon so that will help at the track.

Thanks

I think Lightning Force has some modified Rancho's that are supposed to work pretty good. Somebody else posted about this a couple days ago. I have Cal-tracs, but they aren't much help on the street.

I heard the cal tracs are noisey on the street I just order some ranchos from lightning force for 245 + 20 shipping tha cal tracs are 299 I think.

Lightning Force sells the standard Ranchos for $245.
JDM has modified Ranchos that are stronger for the abuse of drag racing. They will run you $420+
The standard Ranchos will work fine on a street truck. I race quite a bit so I went with the JDM units. These will go on this weekend.

I'm looking into the stardard Rancho's..It's not hard to add bracing and gussets to the standard Rancho axle bracket.. Look at their pictures, that's basically what they do..

Rancho

Hey Guys,

I carry the stock Ranchos for $245.00 plus shipping. These will and have been handling anything i've seen on a Gen1. I have been selling them for going on two yrs. With every sort of modification. I also will be offering the modified kits for $379.00. Modified kits are on there way to being complete. Stock Rancho kits will be on there way as soon as Rancho gets there act together. Sorry for any delays. Once they are in stock I won't be out again.
I will soon be introducing a third kit that will be disclosed in a few weeks.
Cal-Tracs are also a great traction control device on the track.
