[Edit][UPDATE for new readers]
The morning February 9th, we're arranging to meet at JJ's shop in Columbia. I'll post directions this week. There will be light snacks and food available. This will be around 10AM, everyone meet up there. We can have a chance to check out everyone's vehicles, meet some new friends, and get comfortable. We also want to register at that time who is there, and where they're coming from.
Afterwards, we'll be heading out to Baltimore (very short ride) for the Motor Trend Auto Show. Carpooling is suggested, but not required. After the show, back to JJ's for an evening of fun, poker games, and let's see if we can get a reservation at a local restaurant for dinner.
You can arrange with JJ if you want any work done to your vehicle at this day. He has a fully equipped shop, and it will be at his disposal that day. He can be contacted at: jjssvt@jjssvt.com
Black 2000, JJ, and I (Brian) are trying to get everything arranged. If you have any questions or concerns, please email one of us. (Click one of the links in this paragraph)
If you haven't already posted that you're coming, please do so soon, or email one of us.
Thanks!

OK, guys. Let's get the ball rolling here. The weekend of February 9th and 10th will be the Motor Trend International Truck Show at the Baltimore Convention Center. What better place and time to have a great turnout of the area's Lightning owners, Gen1 and Gen2. Dirty or clean, fast or slow, it doesn't matter, we need you.
I propose: The weekend of the show, we need to get everyone together that's interested. Tell others that aren't even part of NLOC, let's show them that there is a community building in our area, and that we love our trucks. We'll meet up in the parking lot at a predetermined time, preferably in the afternoon. This gives everyone time to check out the car show, and for those that don't want to, they can just show up directly at the parking lot. Have a few minutes for everyone to meet and greet, then a nice at-speed cruise to Columbia, to Hilmuth Automotive, where JJ has graciously allowed us to meet and hang out for the time.
Columbia is a very short drive from Baltimore, and I dream to see at least a dozen Lightnings in wing formation, roaring down the highway.
I'd also like this to be a time where we can gauge if there is ample support and involvement to create our own regional Lightning group. We're stuck in the crevice between DelValLO, and NVLOPE, and I think we need representation, too.
I want this to be as family friendly as possible, too. Show your wife that this is a group of people that she doesn't have to worry about leading you astray
No drinking if you're driving, no speeding, no burnouts, or makeshift drag racing. I know I can trust you guys on this.
What do you think? Who's in for it? If anything, it's a good chance to check out some hto concept cars, and show your own truck off to fellow enthusiasts.
