A list of Thing That Went wrong with my Lightning!

Just to let you guys know what the heck went wrong with my 1999 lightning. The intercooler started leaking, the blower's inner coating pealed off and clogged the intercooler, that unfamous front cracking noices wile turning, that ridiculous seat belt that does not rewind, the stupid power window clicking noises, the cracking of the paint, the peeping noices of the brakes, etc........ The truck has only 230000 miles on it. My dad has a 10 year old mazda 929 and he makes fun of me. His car NEVER had any of those RIDiCulous problems. I gues FORD needs to REALLY get their Act together, (I am glad they are reorganizing their company) Quality wise, they suck. To bad that I love my Lightning more than my own girlfriend!! Thanks

posibly the climate that your in. im not trying to make excused but humidity, salt, sand, all can cause problems if not taken car of. and if you got the vehicle used, who knows what kind of hell the other own put it through. I just bought mine a month ago and love it. havent heard of any real problems beside normal wear and tear.

my 99 has had no problems from Ford, Only problems it has had is due to me and my mods.

And dad's 929 won't hold a candle to your Lightning. His car's only problem is it's slow.

Ford will supply all the parts...Lightning Bob and I are Cheap, Air Fare for just One and pick up the Casino bill at the Hyatt. How did you get 23,000 miles on that little Island?

Well Aruba is only about 20 Miles long and 5 Miles wide. Imagine, more than 60,000 cars on a piece of land that big! These roads here do suck big time. I have driven in Miami, and those roads are awsome! My poor lightning gets beat up every single day. But it is just fine, I have got most of the problems fixed under warranty. If you decide to come down here, I own a Pepsi Bottling plant in Aruba. Sea Ya

How do you work when the Beaches have all those Topless Girls?
When my wife and I were there she couldn't wait to get me off the Beach and into the Bar.

Seriously, Best Vacation Spot I have ever been to. Beats Hawaii and the rest of the Carribean.
