A couple shots of my truck

Just curious, what's the 2/3 drop kit that you have on it? I've been looking to lower my L a little bit, but for some reason, it seems to ride lower than other L's do. I have shackles on order to see how I like that, but if not, would like to hear what you have.

Did you use the Belltech 3/4 drop kit, that has the shackles, hangers and front springs?

Did you replace the stock shocks?

How is the ride? Do you bottom out in the rear at all?

Thanks,

WOW!

 That thing is SHARP looking!! Don't do anything else to it cosmetically. Looks bad *** like that. There's black L's all over, but something about that one that really stands out. Definitely one of the best looking!

truck looks great, where did you get that 2/3 drop. ive been looking around and i realy dont want to go with a 3/4. thanks

Thanks for the compliments fellas! I really appreciate it:)

I used the bell tech 3/4 drop on my truck. The kit is designed for a 3/4 drop on a regular F-150. If you use the second hole on the rear shackels it will come out to be a 2/3 on a lightning. The lightning comes from the factory with a one inch drop in the front so the replacement springs will drop it 2 inches instead of three.

I kept my stock shocks just to see how it would ride. The ride is a little more stiff than stock but not enough to make me buy new shocks. I havent really had a problem with bottoming out yet, a couple hard bumps on the road at high speeds will do it though. I have yet to pull my boat with it, hopefully it wont be to bad being my boat only weighs 1100 lbs.

Hope this answers your questions.:tu:
