I saw this truck last weekend at a car show that I was attending. It really exists.Quite an attention getter.Huge crowd around it.Not the stock tranny either.Tony with Hocus Pocus did the work. This will probably be the fastest Gen 2 anywhere.

Hey Tony, I look forward to meeting alot of the NLOC guys/gals this next weekend. It will be a great time! Are you running in T/T or showing the truck? See you soon..

QKSTNG,

I wish I could be in Orlando to see It. What did you do to the Tranny & what are you running for tires? Have Fun,

Jim

Lightning has Thunder!!

Thanks everyone!! Randy Godwin is the owner and IT will be at Orlando and will be in the show. He might make a pass or two so hopefully we will get to see it run.

It drives great and has excellent street manners. It has a 1000hp Lentech AOD with ultrabell and the overdrive deselect switch even works!!

Smokeshow,
The lightning is going to be getting ready for the show this week. I will hopefully have video to send within the next week. If you want to see it in person email me at wininjax@cs.com so I can tell you the next car show we will be attending. :D

I would just like to thank Tony G., Mike,Steve and all the guys at H.P. Performance for the excellent job they did on the truck. I would also like to thank Rick at JR's Muffer shop for the great work that he did. :tu:

Thanks,
Randy

blown?

Is it still blown? I cant imagine that the Eaton 112 could keep up with a 500+ cid motor. The cubes are nice, but does it SOUND like a lightning?

Lghtning with Thunder

No Eaton supercharger here. Just 514 cubes of ground thumping thunder...

Tony G

Yes it sounds like a Lightning on Steroids!!!

just wondering....
whats the weight difference between a stock L with a 15 lb bottle of spray and a big block ford L?
if they can both make 600 hp at the crank wouldnt the small block truck go faster?

i didnt say "better" i just wanna know if the weight is an issue...unless the block and heads are aluminum, which i dont think they are unless its a 50,000 dollar motor, i think the extra weight is gonna be a problem!

That still leaves the option of putting the big block Ford on the bottle making more power.

Weight can always be shifted, removed.. new front light weight fenders, light weight hood, lexan windows etc. etc. I predict low 11's :tu: awesome job!

if, if, if...i mean right now, the way it is! how much extra weight is involved damnit, answer the ?
