93-95 Lightning Engine SOLD

After 20+ years, I sold my Gen 1 to help fund a GT350. I had a ton of stuff in my garage that I kept, thinking I'd buy another Gen 1. (I will be listing a lot of this stuff for free with the cost of shipping). I also had a spare Lightning engine that I planned to install eventually into my '95 Bronco. I dismantled it and upgraded many of the components. That project never happened and I sold the Bronco. This engine block (freshly painted Ford gray), heads and other components are either new or as they came from the machine shop. I left it unassembled as I thought it would be easier to ship if it came to that. Here's a description of what is included. $1,200 OBO plus shipping.

I am surprised that no one is interested in this motor. Found a new one piece oil pan gasket, now included. In order to facilitate shipping, I inserted the main bearings into the block (degreased all the saddles, then lightly oiled the bearing contact surfaces), then placed the crank into the block and snugged down the main caps. I used a used set of main bolts just to hold them on; new ARP bolts are included as listed. Likewise, I mounted the heads on the block using the old single use bolts (new ARP bolts are on the above list; I have replaced them with new 1/2” ARP studs instead. I used the MLS Cometic reusable head gaskets (other new head gaskets included) and used head dowels to mount the heads (two new head dowel sets included). Finally, I mounted the oil pan. This assembly is encased in a heavy duty Saran Wrap kind of material and then covered with an engine bag. All the other parts listed are in a single box that weighs about 130 lbs.

I'd love to have it for black Lightning but no way ATM to swing it... maybe one day!
