all I have to say is..... WOW:eek: ..... I went from a JL 3# to a JL 6# and my first reaction was "HOLY SH*# I better put on my seat belt!" I was kinda worried at first and I listened for any pinging at all on the second run. It held up just fine till about 95 at WOT as soon as I heard it I let off, I kept looking at my AutoMeter gauge and it read 16LBS! Wow what a feeling 3 lbs makes! Tomorrow Im throwing in my Denso Iridium Spark Plugs to see if it helps with the very slight pinging i had. All I have to say is Johnny Thats a hell of a product you have there! At WOT the sound is remarkable. I'll let you know how things turn out after I get the Denso's in!

Is this your first plug change on a Gen 2 L? If so, be sure you have a 7mm, 1/4" drive, socket with the built-in universal joint. The no. 7 coil pack bolt is almost, if not impossible to get out without it. It's useful on several of the other coil pack bolts too. Have a telescoping magnet too to lift the coil pack bolts out and to place them back into their holes. You'll need an array of 1/4 & 3/8ths inch extensions too. The plugs are slanted at a slight angle to the rear on the right bank and to the front on the left bank. Run the new ones in finger-tight and then turn them 1/16th of a turn more with your ratchet. You can't get a torque wrench on several of them.

I just changed mine for the first time last Sun. and no. 4 no. 8 were the worst--for me. My hands still look like I was in a cat fight--and lost.
