Where do you shop for wheels? The tire rack only has one style of 20-inch wheels for the Lightning (O.Z.) and besides being obscenely expensive ($600 a piece), they're not my favorite style. If anybody has a good source, please drop me an email at thiam1@email.msn.com

Papa,

I posted a link to this string on the TALON board. Us Texas guys are kinda crazy anyway, and I know some of the TALON guys have 20s, so maybe they can help. --- Right Sixpipes---???

I can't handle chrome. It may be hard to believe, but I'm actually trying to not to attract too much attention. :D

I'm going through that web site, and so far, I'm out of luck...

Have you looked at Discount Tire yet?

Yeah, finding nice looking non-chromes is impossible. Try Discount Tire, I didn't like the choices but maybe you will... and more than one is available in silver...

Papa,

How about white powder coated 20" 99-00 wheels???

I have seen a few white trucks with white powder coated wheels and they look really good........

I wonder what black with black powder coating looks like

Look through one of those issues of truckin or Mustang Monthly and Fast Fords as there are many places to look for 20's.......

There is a shop to powder coat in Manassas that does good work!!

Hey Brian,

Look at Bulldog's truck --- Black with Black rims.

You can powdercoat almost any rim for about $100 a pop, so you get chrome and make them whatever color you want. Too bad they do not have a translucent white you could put over chrome, that would really be different.:tu:

JJ, how much do your chrome job weight? Well, what i'm really interested in is, how much more than stock wheels? Have you weighed them? Thanks.

By the way, who makes those? Is it a reputable manufacturer? Tire Rack only carries one wheel, but it's an O.Z. and that's a name that guarantees quality. And a huge vaccum in your bank account...:D

Thanks JJ. I actually now remember seeing a truck down South with same wheel as yours, and they indeed looked like high-quality items. It's great that they don't weigh any more than stock. I may get past my aversion to chrome and get them when I need to replace my tires. What kind/size of tires have you put of yours?
